In addition to our regular worldwide watching service, Thomson CompuMark offers a special watch for trademarks filed in Chinese characters, the non-Latin character watch.

This watch is based on the different aspects of the local Chinese language and case law and conducted by local Chinese native speaking trademark experts, handling both analysis and interpretation.

For each reported trademark, the watch notice will indicate:

  • the exact pronunciation of the mark,
  • the meaning of the Chinese characters,
  • the visual similarity aspects,
  • the grounds for selecting the mark,
  • the conclusion on the overall similarity.
